Well, technically this was the first project I tried with the felted sweater, but since I already showed you the christmas tree ornaments, we'll call this number 2.

Felted Sweater Booties!

I think they are super cute. I found a pair of booties in Lewis' stuff (just plain white ones, not very cute) and I thought they had promise as a pattern, so I roughly traced their shape onto a piece of paper.I happened to see the sweater material around my work area when I was preparing to work on them, and I'm glad I did!

The sweater made super cute booties. I used the cuff of the sweater for the cuff of the booties. Obvious choice, I know, but it's still cute!

The only drawback to my pattern is that they don't really stay on! (Look at Lewis' feet in the picture! It took him .06 seconds to get them both off). I think I could fix that by taking the cuff in about an inch or so.

Anyway, I had a ton of fun making them. If I get another felted sweater, I will make a bunch more, and maybe a pair for myself! (I really need slippers!)
